Akvile Su

Akvile Su is an Edinburgh-based jewellery designer and artist who works with recycled precious metals. Her practice is focused on the concepts of minimalism and sustainability while using traditional techniques in modern ways. Su combines and layers geometric or fluid shapes to create playful handmade chains, sculptural rings and minimalist earrings. Inspired by fashion, the visual arts and jewellery history she works to refine her pieces to a timeless, elegant simplicity. As she is particularly interested in challenging social norms surrounding jewellery she creates gender neutral pieces. Akvile has been designing and making since graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2016 with her collections selling both internationally & around the UK.
